About The CFS Bible

The Ceasing From Sin Bible (CFS) is a Modern English translation of The Holy Bible, made for the use of the Ceasing From Sin Study Notes (CFSS). The study notes are for encouraging believers to literally overcome sin through Jesus Christ in this life. The Ceasing From Sin translation of the Bible is based upon The World English Bible (w/the apocryphal 2nd Esdras); and The World English Bible is based upon The American Standard Version of The Holy Bible, first published in 1901, as well as upon the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia Old Testament, and the Greek Majority Text New Testament.

Regarding Copyright

The Book of Enoch, The Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries, The Brown-Driver-Briggs' Hebrew Definitions, and Thayer's Greek Definitions are all under public domain.

The rest of this book has no copyright under the laws of any of the nations, but has a spiritual copyright under Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven. Words themselves are free, and how words are put together is through inspiration of a spirit. So, the editors do not claim any rights to the work done in constructing this Bible, but yield those rights to the Holy Spirit who inspired them.

Feel free to quote or copy the words in this Bible (including the editors’ notes and articles) into your own work(s), as long as you please cite where you have quoted from (The Ceasing From Sin Bible, or CFS); this condition is being requested in the name of Jesus Christ. Also feel free to copy and distribute this work, and even to publish it as either a paperback or hardback book—but as it is, without altering any of the words; this condition is being requested in the name of Jesus Christ.

If you quote any of words in this Bible (including the editors’ notes and articles) but change, add or remove any of the words within the quotation, please cite where you have quoted the original material from (The Ceasing From Sin Bible, or CFS), as well as stating that you altered the material, and then simply marking your alteration so that readers can identify the changes you made (i.e. either italicize the alteration, or embolden it, or use another colour of text) or marking where words were removed, if any (i.e. with an ellipsis […]); these four conditions are being requested in the name of Jesus Christ.

Anyone who handles the words written in this compilation of the Holy Scriptures, including the words of the editors, in maliciousness, falsehood, slander, or any other offensive form, including tampering with and changing words without documenting your accountability as instructed above, will be held accountable to Jesus Christ Himself, both in this life and on the Day of Judgment.
